PRACTICAL GUIDE
Why Privacy Matters When Creating Official Documents
Document creation happens in the browser. It is useful to distinguish document content from ordinary website requests and optional saved data.

What stays in the editor
The builder processes field values, letter text, and uploaded images locally. This release makes no document-generation, analytics, or advertising requests. Normal page requests still reach the host. Do not enter a Social Security number, password, full bank credentials, or a private identifier merely because another form elsewhere asks for one.
Saving is a separate choice
Saving is initially off. Opting in stores fields and manual edits in this browser profile for up to 30 days. The next storage check removes expired entries. This is not an encrypted account or cross-device backup. Images are not saved. A separate Restore saved draft button prevents old text from silently replacing new work.
Delete each type of copy deliberately
Clear saved data removes this site’s local drafts and favorites, including recognizable legacy draft keys. Clear editor empties the current screen and its optional images. Neither action erases downloaded text, PDFs, the clipboard, or emailed copies. On a shared computer, check those locations and close the page. Contact support only with redacted examples.
