PDF vs Word — Which to Use for Your Official Document?
When creating an official document, many ask: should I save it as PDF or work on it in Word? The answer depends on the document's purpose and the entity that will receive it.
Choose the recipient’s requested format
Use the file format specified in the recipient’s instructions. PDF is useful when you want a page layout for reading or printing. An editable format such as DOCX is useful when someone needs to revise the wording. Neither format by itself proves that the content is authentic or legally valid.
What Sanadak exports
The workspace provides browser printing, saving as PDF through the print dialog, copying text, and a plain text download. It does not create a DOCX file. If you need one, copy the reviewed text into your word processor, format it there, and save it in the requested format.
Check the exported copy
Open the saved file and inspect every page. Confirm paper size, line wrapping, Arabic direction when relevant, and any logo or signature. A PDF can still be edited with suitable software; do not describe it as tamper-proof. Keep a copy of the version you actually send.
